L.C. Tiffany was the creator of what today’s called Tiffany’s style: alloyed-tin glass mosaics which are associated to Liberty style, or Art Nouveau. Mr Tiffany found the ideas that inspired his works studying ancient Greek and Byzantine art and crafts, therefore he tried to improve with modern and extremely fine techniques. This style reflects people’s desire of preciousity and unicity, a wish of having something very different and absolute from others, from houses to jewelry…and of course to lamps and chandeliers!
